2010 Patients Conference

ONLINE BOOKING NOW AVAILABLE !!

The online booking website for the ISBD Patient Conference is now available follow this link http://www.behcetsonline.org.uk

Please read the booking details carefully as there are many options to choose from, for example the accomodation variations include single and double bookings which might help reduce costs. There are also optional extras that you might want to consider these can be booked (preferably) now or later see below.

If you are booking for a large party and wish to have the same area of accomodation (the bedrooms are arranged in groups of 7 or 11 around a central catering area) please book the accomodation and send an email to info@behcetsdisease.org.uk with booking details, names, etc, and your request, and we will try to make arrangements to suit.

The conference will run alongside the Medical Conference from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th July, 2010 at Queen Mary University of London.

The costs of the conference have been kept to an absolute minimum, but please bear in mind that we are a charity organising this event, so we must cover our costs. The cost to patients attending the patient part of the conference is just £60 each for the full 3 days. This includes a buffet lunch and tea/coffee each day.

We have also organised ensuite accommodation for those patients who would like to stay over at the conference venue. This is at the excellent rate of £45 per single room for Bed & Breakfast or £70 per double/twin room for Bed & Breakfast per night. There is plenty of accommodation available.

We are also planning a couple of optional events in the evenings following the conference to allow patients to get together informally. A small additional charge will be made for these to cover the costs of catering etc.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist with your travel arrangements to the conference, but there is an excellent rail and tube network to London and from most airports. Please be aware that driving to the conference is not recommended as there are no parking facilities, even for blue badge holders. The closest tube stations are Mile End and Stepney and the closest tube station with disabled access is Bow Church.

We look forward to welcoming you in July.

Any difficulty with booking please email info@behcetsdisease.org.uk or phone 0845 1307328.
