Please be aware that none of our volunteers, staff or trustees are qualified to offer medical advice. We have a medical panel who are able to answer limited questions, and our factsheets (written by medical professionals) offer authoritative medical advice.

Behçet’s UK provide a telephone helpline which available between 9.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays.
It is closed on Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The Society apologises for any inconvenience this may cause to its members.
Answerphones may be used at certain times. Callers who leave a message are contacted as soon as possible at the Society’s expense.
Please remember that we do not deal with emergencies and we are unable to give direct medical advice. In case of emergency, please call 999 or your doctor.
Calls cost up to 9p per minute, but we may be able to call you back if needed.
